Mirrored sunglasses

Sunglasses mask the face and hide some of the visual cues we count on to figure out what's going on behind them.

Where's his attention focused? Is he checking you out?

It's hard enough to decode what a man's thinking even when you can see his eyes and read his body language - it's virtually impossible when he's hiding behind dark or reflective lenses and standing stiff in front of you.

And that's part of the attraction: the aloofness, the distance, the anonymity that allows you to impose your own interpretation on what you see.

Would be nice if that hint of a smile's aimed your way, but without knowing where he's looking you'd be taking a risk if you responded ....
