Always thought Andreas was German, and was surprised to learn he was born in Temeshburg (Romania) on October 20, 1979. But he did move to Germany as a child, and calls Gemany home today. Besides, he's a damn fine lookin' giant gym junkie [he stands 6' 1" tall and at his heaviest weighed over 300 (!) pounds]. And he's pretty easy to on the eyes too.

Phenomenal Ronny "the Rock" Rockel was born in Schlema, Germany on July 12, 1972.

At just 5'6" tall, he carries an impressive 240-250 lbs off season which he brings down to 230-235 lbs for competitions.

Roman Fritz

German body builder Roman Fritz was born on April 13,1988, making him just 23 this year. The stunningly-handsome phenom carries an impressive competition weight of 250 pounds on his 5' 9" frame, and he's been winning contests since he was 18.

Roman calls Munich's Berg am Laim district home, and studies health care management weekdays while working weekends as a bouncer at clubs in the Munich area.

Markus Rühl

Mass monster Markus Rühl was born in Darmstadt, Germany, on February 22, 1972, and currently lives in Pfungstadt, just outside Darmstadt. Rühl pretty much spent his competitive years in Germany, only flying to the US for contests, guest posings or photo shoots.

He stands 5' 11" tall and weighs approximately 320-340 off season and competed at 280-295. Markus has always been one of the biggest men on the competition stage, and nobody carries more massive shoulders.

Armin Scholz was born in Leipzig , GDR on January 31, 1976, making him 35 this year. Today he owns a gym and his stats are unknown, but in his prime, he carried an impressive competition weight of about 280 lbs (and 360 plus off season?!?) on a 6' 2" frame.

Definitely bullcop potential here! He'd look a right mean bastard in WESCO BOSS boots, leather breeches and a Sam Browne...

Ralf Möeller

Ralf Möeller was born in Recklinghausen, Germany on January 12, 1959. He started weight training as a teenager and was the German Champion by 1984.

He competed in the Mr Olympia in 1998, then moved on to a successful movie and television career.

Möeller is one of only a handful of massive German bodybuilders to succeed in Hollywood. He made his film debut in 1989's Cyborg and has since appeared in a number of well-known films, including Universal Soldier (1992), Gladiator (2000) and The Scorpion King (2002) among many others.  He is rumored to have a role in the upcoming film version of The Hobbit (almost certainly not playing the diminutive Bilbo).

He also played Conan the Barbarian on TV in 1997-8.

At almost six-foot six, Möeller towers over the more famous Schwarzenegger.
