Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is a Bavarian tradition which dates back to the 1800s. Oktoberfest Volksfest (People's Fair) celebrations are held in many parts of the world, but the Munich Oktoberfest is probably the largest and best known, attracting some 7 million revelers from around the world over its 17-day run. The last day of the festival is the first Sunday in October (October 2 this year).

During the festival, it's quite common to see the beefy Bavarian bois in lederhosen (literally 'leather breeches'):

Looks like there's schweinshaxe (pig's knuckles) and weisswurst (white sausage) on the menu, men!

Genießen sie.
